You fill in a quick form describing what needs clearing and your postcode. Licensed local companies then submit their quotes. You compare prices and choose the best one. Simple.
Is it really free to get quotes?
Yes — completely free. No registration fee, no credit card required to get quotes.
How long does it take to receive quotes?
Most customers receive their first quote within a few hours. We aim to have multiple quotes for you within 24 hours.
What areas do you cover?
We cover Liverpool, Warrington, St Helens, Widnes, Runcorn, Birkenhead, Wirral, Bootle, Crosby, Huyton, Knowsley and Prescot.
About Our Companies
Are the clearance companies licensed?
Yes — every company on JunkBid must hold a valid Upper Tier Waste Carrier Licence issued by the Environment Agency. We verify this before approving any company.
Why does this matter?
Under UK law, if your waste is fly-tipped by an unlicensed carrier, you could be held liable. Using a JunkBid company protects you completely.
How many companies will quote for my job?
Typically 2-5 companies depending on your area and job size.
Payments & Deposits
What is the deposit for?
A small 10% deposit confirms your booking and is deducted from the final price. The remaining balance is paid directly to the company on the day of the clearance.
Is my deposit refundable?
Please contact us at junkbid.merseyside@gmail.com if you need to cancel — we handle cancellations on a case by case basis.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via our secure Stripe payment system.

What happens on the day?
The clearance company will contact you to arrange a convenient time. They'll arrive, clear the items, and dispose of them legally and responsibly.
